I also rather liked how Castle didn't get all defensive and what not around Demming, and that they actually ::shock:: were able to *work together* and stuff without any (okay, so very little) posturing.

I loved that so much. These storylines can be so repetitive and dull when they go that route; this way, Beckett stands a chance of getting to see Castle *gasp* grow! Show his maturity! Shocker!
