Knoxville is fine--there's 150 miles between us and the flooded areas.
Nashville won't even really be able to assess damages until the water recedes. Some of the suburbs have had the water recede, but it'll be another couple of days for downtown, I think. TN's governor applied for federal disaster relief yesterday, and mentioned something about multi-billion dollar damages. Most people in Nashville don't have flood insurance, so they're SOL on that front. It's basically Nashville's Katrina.
