I have been bouncing between fics, not really getting much done. I think I might be close to finishing this odd little piece that sprouted when I noticed that there's a birdhouse hanging on Fleischman's porch in pretty much every episode of Northern Exposure. I decided to go for an extended metaphor. We'll see how it turns out.
