According to his twitter, Nathan Fillion is going to guest star on/at The Thrilling Adventure Hour in LA. Intrigued by this idea, I went to find their website, and discovered that this is some kind of sci-fi/fantasy themed live-action radio variety show a la A Prairie Home Companion. They also have video of a show from earlier this year.

It's pretty hilarious, and you should all watch it. Highlights are an insane starship computer quoting Macbeth, a parody of a Gilbert & Sullivan song, Gilbert and Sullivan wracked with self-doubt, and the host of terrible puns that emerge from Captain Laserbeam's matchup the The Diebrarian. It's all very much in the spirit of APHC (which gets a mention at the beginning), although these people have more tropes to be self-consciously mocking about.

Now I want to go out to Hollywood someday and watch one...
