Okay, so I read The Engines of God, and while some of the sentences are a bit clunky, I thought it was great! One question before I dive into the rest of the series, though--do we ever get an answer as to what causes the world-destroying clouds? I don't mind reading several books to get an answer, but I will be Put Out with McDevitt if we never get one. :P
