That's... a really good point about the earrings. I don't know how I missed that before.
I'm guessing this is the only episode she wears them in.
There's always a possible rationalization, though - I don't remember the exact earrings she wears, but there's always the possibility of clip-ons? Most modern ones are pretty obvious, but I've seen some really nice and fairly subtle ones in antique stores, so the principle is potentially sound.
I just spent entirely too much time trying to get a closer look at those earrings. Possibly they could be magnetic, but I'm sure in RL they were pierced. Maybe she just works fast? Although if she's still having to ask how to wash her hair in the next episode, I can't quite see her getting her ears pierced now. (Personally, if I were Delenn, I wouldn't stand for clip-ons--those things HURT. Magnetic might be better.)
