I do a weedout maybe once a year (and I did one right before I moved of the ones I had in Knoxville, anyway), so I don't usually have that much to get rid of. But this was a NO MERCY weedout. I need to do that more often.
I've gotten pretty good at staving off attachments to pleasure reading books. I tried to keep them only if I just LOVED them, and had reread them at least once, or if they were part of a series. Grad school books were the real killers--and I want to keep those because they have my notes in them, and often notes taken during discussion or lecture as well.
