I remember Walter being an ass in the hospital about his IQ - which I actually liked. I thought it was a realistic flaw that wasn't "I'm crazy in a funny way," and he needed it. And it's something that is very realistic for someone who is as smart as he is.

I'm so very much enjoying reading your theories. One of the things I love about this show is that there really are so many possibilities, so many different answers to all the questions they raise, so you never know where you're going. Of course, I've been happy with the answers so far.
