Heh. Let's just that that there is an episode which makes it very obvious that Walter has contemplated the idea of them getting married, at least.
I thought they implied that Olive was the source of the fire that killed Walter's lab assistant!
They did. I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but my theory in this post went up in flames pretty quickly after I came up with it. Jones just teleported, and not into an alternate universe, so everything I had come up with that hinged on him going to the AU fell apart.
When Nick opened that closet FULL of dark, drab clothes, I lol'd hard. One black shirt wasn't enough, he needed twenty.
THEY ARE ALL SUBTLY DIFFERENT AND TWENTY IS TOTALLY NECESSARY!
Isn't that a happier explanation than just lazy writers? Let's pretend it's true!
