wintercreek: A stack of books, the top one open. ([misc] addicted to the written word)

It's somewhere between Doomsday Book and To Say Nothing of the Dog - it's definitely not a comic novel like TSNotD, but not as heavy as DB, imo. I haven't read All Clear yet, but I did read Blackout in February and that's what I remember my impression being.

Colin from DB shows up in this one, although not in any major way, and of course Mr. Dunworthy is there being In Charge of Everything. That's all the continuity I can think of. *g*

I also talked with CW when she came by my bookstore to sign copies and she said she thinks of Blackout and All Clear as being more on the serious, Doomsday Book side of portraying time travel and history. Apparently her next planned time travel novel is a comic one like TSNotD, dealing with the Roswell UFO incident in 1947. So maybe read these two, and skip the next one?
