I fully endorse this idea!!! And will happily (gleefully!) beta it for you when you're done if it happens to be not-spoilery for whatever point I happen to be at by then. And if it is then I'll just bounce and be excited and happy until I get to read it.

Just because our fake TV series includes a variant of Space Elves does not mean the characters need to have names straight out of Tolkien.

I haven't (yet) had that problem with any of the space elves, but whenever I write something with proper elves (more often than I'd like to admit), I have a tendency to accidentally crib names from the Silmarillion. It's a bit embarrassing.
