I like the idea of "Orcas," but when I say "Vancouver Orcas" together it all sort of mashes into one word, with the R and the O being right next to each other. Islanders is a possibility. Someone over on the LJ post also mentioned Sockeyes, which I like a lot.

I think I'm going to have the dialogue go, "They haven't come near the pennant in twenty years." Thanks!
