Well. That was exciting! Of course, the preview totally spoiled the cliffhanger ending in what appeared to be an exceptionally deliberate way: "ZOMG bomb! Bomb bomb bomb! Beckett and Castle working on finding the bomb! Adrian Pasdar being either noble or evil! Bomb! ...Oh, right, we left them in the freezer just now. Uh, they spend some time in there. Possibly there is hypothermia-prevention-via-shared-body heat. Tune in next week!"
The best part of this episode, though, was Castle's oh-so-frustrated grimace when the radiation tech interrupted his MOMENT with Beckett, when he was going to tell her how he could TOTALLY BE THAT GUY, the one who's there for her and lets her be there for him in return, please can't you give me a chance, please please please? Awww. Also enjoyed Castle using his excessive technology to recreate the precinct in his apartment.
Josh/Beckett appears to be not long for this world. Oh, shucky-darn. Since they decided not to use the roadblock romances constructively, I'm glad they're quickly becoming history.
Oh, and while I was very ??? about Lanie/Esposito at first, now I think they're kind of adorable.
