aw, I like "the truth about cats and dogs." It has it's issues, but it's still pretty sweet in places. Although like you I watch it shipping Abby and Noelle and I'm sure that if that movie had come out in the last 5 years it would have had a massive femslash fandom the way The Devil Wears Prada did.
Janeane Garofalo has gotten way more serious over the years. She's pretty fantastic. She had a show on Air America for a while and Keith used to have her as a guest on Countdown pretty regularly. So I'm more surprised that she's taken a leading roll in a TV show at all, because I'd sort of assumed she'd moved away from acting to activism.
