I love a lot of different elements of the movie (okay, well, I love three: Janeane Garofalo, whom I thought was the absolute epitome of snarky, cynical coolness when I was a tween and teen; the beautifully femslashy subtext between Abby and Noelle, which I really found much more interesting than the Abby/Brian/Noelle triangle; and the animals). The elements just don't add up to a decent movie for me. I'm not fond of plots that rely on deception, though.
