Crusade was so short, I don't know that I have a lot of feeeeeeeeelings about Gideon, but he seemed reasonably competent enough to lead the show. His Apocalypse Box was certainly intriguing.
I liked his on-again/off-again thing with Lochley. I thought it was cool that the show acknowledged that they were both incredibly busy with their jobs and often very far away from each other, so they weren't tying strings around each other or trying to make it into a grand romance, but just planned to enjoy being together when they could.
I always wanted to know more about his history with Galen. I also thought he and Max Eilerson had an interesting dynamic.
Not sure if the show lasted long enough/has enough of a fandom to have an unpopular opinion. Wait, was his thing with Lochley unpopular? If so, that's mine.
Canon that should've happened: The rest of the five-year arc! Somewhat more seriously, a plot thread where he was connected to the Apocalypse Box beyond just having won it in a poker game. Maybe it came to him for a reason.
