FEEEEEEEELINGS: OMG, GEOFFREY. He is in my top five favorite characters list. I love how the craft and the stories of the theater permeate his whole life--even, yes, to the point of contributing to a mental breakdown--and inform his relationships with the other characters. I love how fully-realized a character he is on the screen.
Ships: He and Ellen are kind of a package deal for me; I think because so much of Geoffrey's life is bound up with hers, that I can't really think of him without her coming along for the ride. And there's so much history there that it's endlessly fascinating. I kind of like the idea of Anna having had a little crush on him back when he was acting at the festival, though.
Other kinds of ships: I adore his relationship with Anna. They're such good friends and co-conspirators, especially in S3. I really like they way that they each don't necessarily understand what the other does, but they respect it tremendously.
Unpopular opinion: I don't slash him with Darren at all, not even back at university. I can see them having some grudging respect for each other, but I think even if they were both really drunk, there would still be a line.
Something that should've happened: The series is so perfect as it is, I find it difficult to think of something to add. I would like to see a sequel series set at the Theatre Sans Argent in Montreal, though.
