S&A was definitely a very smart show. I also liked the references they expected you to get and understand the significance of to the story they were telling; it's something they share with my favorite show ever, Northern Exposure, which did that with philosophy and assorted literature.

due South is such fun! I'm not much for crime shows, but of the crime shows I watch/have watched, it was by far my favorite.
