Clean-shaven AND nattily dressed makes him look like he's on his way to an important meeting, not a crime scene.
I know! He looks more like a Wall Street drone than a cop...autopsy assistant...whatever he is.
btw: putting on a tux and letting a pretty girl drag you to a fancy party where you feel out of place and STILL not shaving? What is going on in Peter's head??
Seriously. Although maybe it takes weeks and weeks to get the stubble to exactly that level of stubbliness, and he was too proud of it to shave.
AWWWWWWW, wardrobe and hair probably ARE conspiring to make him look soft and cuddly! (Although possibly they're also trying to complement his hair color? I see Kate gets a lot of pastels too.) And yeah, his advice is pretty much the only thing that's gotten Megan anywhere with Lacey, so I'm gonna go with more maternal than Megan. Hmmm, I think in my personal canon, he's going to get a youngish nephew he's all father figurey to.
