I don't ship-ship Astrid/Walter, but I do love stories of the two of them being epic bros forever, or where Astrid becomes his quasi-daughter in a kind of Adama/Kara sort of thing but with less dysfunction. I haven't found many stories like that. :(

I'm kinda the same way, though, in that I don't really feel a need to seek out fic for the show. I'm tempted to try writing a kidfic, though...
