Yeah, I agree that the ending was not in keeping with the rest of the show, and it detracted somewhat from Montgomery's storyline.

I think we should just resign ourselves to this show turning in Bones 2.0. Marlowe just did an interview--I've lost the link, but I'm sure it's somewhere on one of the Castle comms--where he basically said they weren't planning to address the ending until the middle of S4. Greeaaaat.
