Hey, I was just rewatching a particular episode and thought of you. If you want a really fabulous introduction to the show and the characters--because while it starts strong, they did take a few episodes to gel, and to figure out the best way of including some of the more supporting roles like Marilyn or Ruth-Anne--try the third season's "The Body in Question." Pretty much one of the most perfect hours of TV ever filmed, IMO. :)
