It's like a fauxhawk... dyed gray? or he's dying his midnight-o-clock shadow orange? wtf.

I think that might just be the lighting or post-production coloring. His hair has always looked kind of ashy blond outside. And Megan's hair is considerably lighter in these photos than it is in photos from this same episode that were taken inside.
