He's such a nerd! I read an interview with Anna Torv a while ago where she mentioned that he was apparently a big X-Files fan when it was on, and that just makes me grin.

Also, he refers to Peter in 3rd person, which I approve of - it always weirds me out when actors conflate the character with themselves.
