If a character really did turn into a dinosaur, as you say above, I might have to watch it!

Well, there's a comic book tie-in that involves dinosaurs, actually. But not on the show itself. Though it is an excellent show! Kind of like if the X-Files and Alias had a lovechild, only that child had a really, really well-written mytharc with parallel universes and insanely good character development.
