More like, "Wow, we almost but didn't quite catch the girl who tell us who killed his ~~secret crush~~ partner, and he's still living in a hotel and has no friends, maybe he'd like to just talk to someone for an hour..."

(Has Olivia ever had an unmarried partner she hasn't slept with? Geez.)

Astrid? She seemed to be her partner prior to Lincoln in the Amberverse. Of course, she also doesn't seem to, you know, meet people outside of work, so maybe it's inevitable that she falls for her partners...
