even cliffhangerier

Walter: "Is that a word?"

I want to know how long Olivia's migraines have been going on.

I think they're a side-effect of the knock-out drugs Nina is using on her. Because she's getting injected with cortexiphan, right? And that alone didn't cause headaches before. I can't figure out what Nina's goal is with that, though. Maybe we'll finally get back to the Machine, and That Apocalypse We Kinda Put On The Back Burner? After the scenes they chose for the previouslies, I was hoping the migraines would be related to her dreams of Peter, but apparently not.

but I have to admit that Olivia and Nerd!Lincoln at the diner in the beginning was cute.

So cute! There's gotta be some universe where they get together! ...Just not one with Peter in it, okay? Poor Lincoln is getting set up for a heart-smooshing, I can tell. :(

OMG, he's slowly turning into Red!Lincoln.

Complete with Olivia fixation! Aww.

Oooh, Amberlivia's back to black hair ties like Bluelivia instead of the white she's been sporting.

...It appears I am not the only one here who is creepily over-observant?

He also seems more bitchy toward her than Blue!Walter was, but maybe I'm just misremembering.

Maybe it's that he doesn't have Peter to bitch at? :(

And poor, confused Olivia's just like, "But I thought it was normal to take shapeshifters and alternate universes and time warps in stride!"

Oh, Olivia. Somebody needs a hug. And maybe a shrink.

So was Marilyn's Massive Dynamic private insurance something the family received for Olivia's participation in the trials?

Maybe? Or maybe the insurance company wasn't exclusive to MD?

What exactly is Peter building? Isn't there a machine already?

There's one in the universe-bridge. Maybe he's trying to figure out how to hack it for timeline-swapping?

do these people not get weekends?

Fauxlivia mentioned having Sundays off at one point (in the process of getting called in to work on a Sunday...). I kinda assumed that they were all on the six-days-a-week-plus-emergencies schedule.

Hmmm, Peter said "timeline" rather than "universe." I wonder if that's significant.

It does seem to make sense. Redverse has a LOT of differences, like Nixon and ballpoint pens, but Amberverse's only differences stem mainly from the Peter-hole.

Oh, I loved the way he just went completely still (and a little googly-eyed) when Lincoln mentioned Olivia's name.

Meeeeep. And Lincoln is not the only one who can cotton.

"That's not my Olivia." BRB, CRYING FOREVER.

FLAILFLAILFLAIL

Also, awww, Lincoln has a crush. He's in for a rude awakening.

This is really starting to point towards Amberlivia actually turning out to be Blulivia at a later date, because how do you maximize the crazy doppeldrama? Have Peter accidentally set Lincoln up with Peter's Olivia. And then Olivia remembers she's Peter's Olivia. OH SNAP! Lincoln loses in every timeline!

Someone needs to find him a nice young man.

It would be for the best, really.

They were a little heavy-handed with U-Gene's relevance to Peter's situation, too.

A bit hamfisted, yes, but... the fact that the sciencetastically-lonely introvert suspect is a (admittedly shallow) metaphor for not only Peter, but also Olivia AND Lincoln? Awwwwwwwww, this show, awwwwwww! Hugs for everybody! (That last scene between Nina and Olivia? OH MY GOD.)

Also, if Eugene is visible in UV light... this whole plot could've been prevented if he'd just taken up with Boston's raver crowd, or a black-light bowling league. Just saying.
