Walter: "Is that a word?"

It is if I say so!

I think they're a side-effect of the knock-out drugs Nina is using on her.

Yeah, you're probably right. Although if it's been going on long enough to cause what appear to be long-standing migraines, doesn't Olivia ever wonder why she keeps waking up on the floor?

Because she's getting injected with cortexiphan, right?

It does look that way, yep.

I can't figure out what Nina's goal is with that, though.

It seems like there might be two reasons: one, to activate her (maybe they have a burning need for a pyrokinetic? *ba-dum-ching*), or two, to keep her inactive. When Olivia starts questioning why she's so stoic, out comes the cortexiphan to keep her that way? Though I still can't figure out what goal either of those results would serve.

Maybe we'll finally get back to the Machine, and That Apocalypse We Kinda Put On The Back Burner?

I really really really want to get back to the apocalypse! All the fringe events are supposedly the result of the rift Walter made between the universes (right?), so the fact that they're still seeing fringe events means the universes are still actively apocalypsing, argh.

After the scenes they chose for the previouslies, I was hoping the migraines would be related to her dreams of Peter, but apparently not.

Yeah, I was hoping the same thing, but they also had scenes about Cortexiphan in the previouslies, so I guess they were hinting pretty broadly there.

So cute! There's gotta be some universe where they get together! ...Just not one with Peter in it, okay?

Perhaps there is a chartreuse universe where Peter was never born and Olivia and Lincoln live happily ever after!

Poor Lincoln is getting set up for a heart-smooshing, I can tell. :(

Ohhhh, definitely. I guess technically he already had a bit of a heart-smoosh when Olivia stood him up at the end...

...It appears I am not the only one here who is creepily over-observant?

Er...um... *whistles* I actually read about the white hair ties somewhere else, but the black one I noticed on my own!

Maybe it's that he doesn't have Peter to bitch at? :(

Awww, Peter's no longer the lightning rod for Walter's bitchiness!

Oh, Olivia. Somebody needs a hug. And maybe a shrink.

I originally read that as "And maybe a drink," which would also be an option. But the shrink is probably healthier.

Maybe? Or maybe the insurance company wasn't exclusive to MD?

Like MD would let anyone else in on their scientific turf...

There's one in the universe-bridge. Maybe he's trying to figure out how to hack it for timeline-swapping?

Perhaps?

Fauxlivia mentioned having Sundays off at one point (in the process of getting called in to work on a Sunday...). I kinda assumed that they were all on the six-days-a-week-plus-emergencies schedule.

Join the FBI. You can have a day off when you retire. If you live that long.

It does seem to make sense. Redverse has a LOT of differences, like Nixon and ballpoint pens, but Amberverse's only differences stem mainly from the Peter-hole.

Hmmm, true...

This is really starting to point towards Amberlivia actually turning out to be Blulivia at a later date

So instead of the timeline actually changing (the "Peter as eraser rubbings" theory), Amber was just laid over Blue like saving over a document in Word? I'm kind of leaning toward that myself these days...although I tend to think their "revert to last saved copy" function is partially broken...

Have Peter accidentally set Lincoln up with Peter's Olivia. And then Olivia remembers she's Peter's Olivia. OH SNAP! Lincoln loses in every timeline!

LINCOLN WILL NEVER BE HAPPY!

A bit hamfisted, yes, but... the fact that the sciencetastically-lonely introvert suspect is a (admittedly shallow) metaphor for not only Peter, but also Olivia AND Lincoln? Awwwwwwwww, this show, awwwwwww! Hugs for everybody!

The writers are so good at multitasking!
