Body of Proof 2.09: "Gross Anatomy"
Nov. 29th, 2011 10:17 pmYeah, I'm out. I can't keep doing this anymore. Seriously, show? Peter/Dani? You're really going there? Three reasons why this is a bad idea:
1. I think you fulfilled your relationship drama for the year with Kate/Todd.
2. She looks barely twenty, he looks about forty, and there is no way that cannot be creepy, sorry.
3. Any relationship where the beginning is as cheesy as this cannot be any good:
Dani: *flirt flirt flirt*
Peter: *ignore*
Dani: *FLIRT FLIRT FLIRT*
Peter: *ignores harder*
Dani: HI, I AM COMING ON TO YOU, PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE ME.
Peter: ...I don't date co-workers, sorry.
[later]
Peter: Aw, your dad's being mean to you? Welp, we're alone in an elevator, let's make out!
NO, SERIOUSLY, THAT IS HOW IT WENT DOWN. Ugh.
So I am breaking myself free of the unnatural shackles this show has held me in! I am running free over the hills! FREEDOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Although I'm a bit sad, because Bud and Sam were especially awesome tonight. Sam running up to the murderer and jumping on his back to take him down even though she's tiny? Yes, please. Also, Bud knowing all kinds of crap about babies and being like, "...My wife is really into this, okay?" was hilarious and sweet. Also, there was this great quote from Sam: "I'm not saying he didn't kill her. I'm just saying he loved her."
Also, is it bad that I want fic where Megan is actually the serial killer her mom thought she was going to grow up to be?
In other news, Rizzoli & Isles returned last night. There was Bill O'Reilly. It was just as bad as you would expect, although not for exactly the reasons you would expect. But I enjoyed the snarking between Jane & Maura, Jane & Frost, Jane & Frost & Korsak, etc. Also, Maura changing a tire. And changing into appropriate footwear first. Ha!
Also, next week's Castle looks really good. Castle and Beckett apparently spend part of the episode handcuffed together, and...okay, Marlowe & co. basically just put some fanfic up on the screen, and I am 100% okay with that.

Come, run free over the hills with me! Tv is so much better out here!
Also, is it bad that I want fic where Megan is actually the serial killer her mom thought she was going to grow up to be?
No, because that sounds substantially better than the actual show.

And why not? Because it's not like the real writers haven't done worse this season.
