My LJ account is permanent, which in some ways is sort of nice, because it means I haven't actually given LJ any money since 2003. But it also means I can't take money away from them.

So, despite LJ still being my main platform (though that's kind of looking to change right now), I buy a premium DW account every six months. Though, I'll admit, part of that's so I can have all of my icons. But it's also a "support DW while subtly saying fuck you to LJ" thing. It makes me feel better.
