I get the impression that Vaughn and Lauren's marriage isn't long for this world.

It looks a little conflicting. Some sources say they're still together by episode 10, others say something happens sooner. Melissa George has definitely signed for a full season though, so I'm not sure what happens to her if they split.

I would think we'd maybe be getting the very last little pieces of info by the end of the season

I believe there is some big stuff coming around episode 10 or 12, but JJ Abrams is a master at keeping you guessing until the end, so it wouldn't surprise me that we have to wait for the end of the season.
