Which figure skater do you admire the most?
Admire? Hmmm. The obvious answer would be Katia Gordeeva, but I'll be different and say Marina Anissina. Possible complicity in the Salt Lake City fiasco aside, she moved to an entirely different country (Russia to France) at age seventeen without speaking the language or knowing anyone there and managed to work her way up to being one of the best ice dancers in the world even under that kind of stress. That's pretty cool.
