I am loving this season SO MUCH. I haven't actually seen 5x06 yet (the elections ate my life), but when you said it was "very them," I feel like that's the way the whole relationship has been written this season. They're still themselves -- they're just finally allowing themselves to be in love and have conversations like grown-ups and generally just be really sexy and adorable, and I love it.
