Aren't they terrible in the best possible way?

And I love that you haven't smoothed out the plot into a simpler "we were awful; then we got better" narrative, and that the chorus shows them succeeding...but also screwing up.

Haha, thank you! It never occurred to me to smooth out the plot like that, because it's Kate and Doug, and screwing up while also being wildly successful is just what they do. :D
