Thanks. Personally, I think she does better than me by virtue of fitting into it (I, ahem, squoze myself in), but frankly I'm not sure it could ever look good on anyone.

And am I wrong, or are those strappy gold heels just a bad idea waiting to trip someone?

Eh, I have a pair of very similar ones (all ballroom Latin heels look very much alike), and it wasn't so bad. Uncomfortable because I hate wearing heels, but I don't think I would call them dangerous.
