Today I am going to rec you some Shawn Colvin songs. Yes, that one. Last.fm has been spitting a fair percentage of her back catalog at me lately, and I decided to check out her stuff. So, have seven songs:

The cheerful, perky, if possibly slightly threatening* one: Fill Me Up

The two step one: Round of Blues

The "I don't really know what it's about (though I suspect anxiety), but it's super catchy" one: Another Long One

The eightiestastic one: Steady On

The one about marriage: Bound to You

The cover: Window to the World (originally by Rush)

The one that'll break your heart: Monopoly

* I just don't really know what to do with the lines "I know where you live, / And I know who you are, / So don't get too close, / And don't go too far." It's a sweet, if perhaps slightly codependent, love song aside from that.
