There's something about being at home, on vacation, that simply sucks all willpower out of one. Have you noticed that?

I've managed to read one book for history, half of one for bio (saving the rest for the plane ride Sunday afternoon), do some research for my Irish Lit. paper by (by which I mean I watched a video about Celtic music and took some notes), type up two poems, get a very bare outline and an introduction for my history essay, and do a little more work on my web project for bio. With luck, I may finish said web project and read some Eavan Boland poems for Irish tomorrow.

I meant to do all of the above, as well as get the entire essay written, revise several of my own poems, and get some more research done. Sigh. I guess I didn't not-do too much, but I only have two weeks before the end of the semester. I don't even want to think about that giant Irish essay. UGH. Plus there's the choir concert a week from today, which also happens to be the night of our big all-campus dance that ballroom sponsors. I would totally skip it and do work that I won't get done because of choir rehearsals, but as an officer, I have to be there for clean-up, if nothing else. This would be that lovely night I got in around 4 in the morning last year, and where all the ballroomers were walking around like zombies the next morning. Bleh.

I predict much lack of sleep over the next two weeks. Meep.

::looks pointedly at her still mostly full back pack:: My dear, I know the feeling. I was expecting to be totally on top of things this extended weekend, getting all my written stuff, like math homework and geology and English done yesterday and than spend today and tomorrow working on the revisions for my research paper. As of the moment, I have only finished the majority of my math homework and nothing else. I few days of freedom after almost three months without any just kinda sucks all the will to accomplish anything out of ya... Though you have gotten way more done then I have. :)

*pets Becca* Hon, u make HERMIONE look bad, that's A LOT of homework u got done there! Esp in comparison to me, I've done JACK all weekend but eh that's what SUNDAY's for!!! :)
