I didn't remember the movie enough to read this as I was reading through the archive, but I just skimmed it, and I have to say that I just love your writing. You clearly have a gift with narrative, and your prose-level writing is exactly the sort of style that I like best: not too flowery, but still really gorgeous. I'm very impressed.
