I just discovered what the Actions palette in Photoshop is for. More specifically, the "Image Effects" action set.

I am never getting anything else done ever again.

Actions do all kinds of seriously cool things. It's in the same palette as the History. I think it only loads witht he default actions folder; go up to the little arrow in the right hand corner, click and hold, and highlight all the other action sets (should be Image Effects, Text Effects, etc.) so you can play around with all of them. Then get a picture open. In the Actions palette, find one that sounds good, click on it, and then click the little "play" button at the bottom of the palette. Rinse and repeat.

They are SO. FREAKING. COOL. Now I know how all the professional websites get their cool interfaces...
