Like a broken record
Jan. 4th, 2004 02:25 pmRecord high of 73F yesterday. It's already that temperature today and it's not quite mid-afternoon (we usually hit our high around 3:30 or 4 o'clock). Unfortunately, that means yard work. Thankfully I left a tank top down here, 'cause all I brought with me was long-sleeved stuff. It's almost warm enough for shorts--they wouldn't go amiss at the moment.
Of course, there's a cold front about to come through, and tomorrow we get regular January temperatures--40s for highs, 20s for lows. Sigh.
Gonna make the most of it and go read yet more Silmarillion outside.

Date: 2004-01-04 12:45 pm (UTC)It's 28 degrees here, and highs are supposed to be below freezing. Our normal January weather is high in the 40's or 50's with lows above freezing. Yeah, you're farther south, but we usually get that warm ocean air.

I think that system is making its way over here. Sigh. But at least that means its moving out of your area.
