Remember the "fashion police" icon I had a while back, with the Israeli ice dancers who looked like clowns? That's only a little worse than typical.
'cause they're sports photographers, and the action shot always makes the best shot - regardless of whether it actually looks better at all.
*grumbles about how footwork, spirals, basic skating and other things where the skaters aren't spinning around count just as much as the jumps and spins* Yeah, yeah, like AP photographers would know that, I know.
