Twenty-four people applied for the Exeter program, but originally, they were only going to let 18 go. But now they've decided to have two directors, so instead of just Matz going, they're bringing a history prof along as well (Matz is the only one who's going to teach the seminar we do as a group, so it's still all English majory--Bowman is going to basically be the other group leader for trips and stuff).

So no more agonizing over what they're going to do! Woo-hoo!!!

*bounces around*

Oh, and Scottish types, like spockette and babylil? Apparently our big three-week spring trip is going to involve Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as "rural areas." There's also lots of weekend-ish trips to London and various areas around Exeter planned. I'm so up for visiting people either then or on those massive vacations Exeter has... :)

Wooot! Oh yeah, and since you're actually going to be in the same country as me, you reckon there's a chance you might be able to come visit me on October 19th? Because, you know, it's my birthday and you can skip class and come to a Sarah Mclachlan concert with me! (yes, she'll be in Glasgow on my birthday! Woo!) *G*

Oooooh... I'd love to do that so, so much. However, that's, like, the second week of classes (I think classes start around Oct. 4), so probably not such a good idea to take a five-day weekend that early in the year... :( but I'll definitely come see you on one or both of the breaks. Or even better, you can come travel around with us...show us all the off-the-beaten-path stuff in your neck of the woods... ;)
