It's raining not only cats and dogs, but also cows, horses, elephants, giraffes...it's raining the bulls that are gonna kill us in Paso Doble. Bwahaha.

Also, no hot water for my shower a few minutes ago. Quite irksome.

What’s the last thing you ate?
A mint chocolate creme-filled Pirouette cookie. Mmmm.

What’s your favourite cheese?
Shredded parmesan and/or mozzarella.

What’s your favourite fish?
Catfish is pretty good when done right. Red Lobster does fabulous fried fish, but I dunno what kind it is. Tuna sandwiches are yummy. Shrimp and clams are also good.

What’s your favourite fruit?
Grapes, apples, and sliced pears.

When, if ever, did you start liking olives?
Was before I can remember. I don't like green olives, but black olives...yum. They're best straight out the can (better yet, refrigerated first), but also on salads and pizza.

When, if ever, did you start liking beer?
Never tried it. Have smelled it; have no desire to taste it.

When, if ever, did you start liking shellfish?
Um...always? I guess clams are shellfish, and I'ved liked them forever. Fried clams, clam chowder...yum. (My mom hates all seafood and my dad only eats shrimp. I have no idea how I came to like so much of it.) Don't really care for crab, though. What other shellfish are there?

What was the best thing your mum/dad/guardian used to make?
Mom makes a mean stroganoff. Dad tries to stay out of the kitchen. As do I.

What’s the native specialty of your home town?
Gotta be Goo Goo Clusters. Think Rocky Road ice cream in a candy bar (candy circle, actually). Peanuts and nougat glued together with marshmallow and caramel witha chocolate coating. Made right here in Nashville. Dunno where all they're sold, but they don't have them in Ohio, sadly.

What’s your comfort food?
Chooooooocolate...

What’s your favourite type of chocolate?
I really like white chocolate, actually. Those Hershey's Cookies and Cream bars? Mmmmm. Favorite candy of all time, though, has to be the Cadbury Creme Egg.

How do you like your steak?
Cooked all the way through, please. Some kind of pepper-related grilling sauce is good, too. Then I put on lots more pepper, mushrooms, and douse it in steak sauce.

How do you like your burger?
Cheese is good. As are onions and mustard. Not so much on the ketchup.

How do you like your eggs?
If there must be eggs, scrambled with cheese and onions.

How do you like your potatoes?
Mmmm...garlic mashed potatoes...plain with gravy are good, too. About the one thing Aramark does okay is this turkey-and-broccoli-in-white-sauce concoction that you pour over a baked potato, which is good, too.

How do you take your coffee?
Coffee. Is. Nasty.

How do you take your tea?
Iced, usually (Lipton or Luzianne), with enough sugar to sink a battleship. Same for the hot tea, although that's most often herbal (Celestial Seasonings' Peach/Passionfruit tea is the best thing ever). Tea without sugar is vile. Tea with milk is unthinkable.

What’s your favourite mug?
This huge white one that's practically a bowl that I have at home. You can fit enough milk for two or three packets of hot chocolate in that thing.

What’s your biscuit or cookie of choice?
I'm simple. Chocolate chip, please.

What’s your ideal breakfast?
Sausage links, bacon, scrambled eggs w/ cheese and onion, and orange juice. Or, equally as good, two or three buttermilk biscuits (the Pillsbury/Hungry Jack kind) with sausage gravy. I may be Southern, as evidenced by that last choice, but grits are an invention of the devil.

What’s your ideal sandwich?
Chicken salad with big chunks of chicken, lots of pepper, and a few bits of celery on French or rye bread.

What’s your ideal pizza (topping and base)?
Homemade, with an average-sized crust, not too much tomato sauce, lots and lots of cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and black olives.

What’s your ideal pie (sweet or savory)?

Don't like pie too much, actually. Although French silk can be really, really good. So can fudge and, on occasion, pecan. Okay, I like pie.

What’s your ideal salad?
Romaine lettuce, carrots, a few onions, black olives, and Italian dressing that's actually oil and vinegar, not this mayonaise-based collection of herbs that ARA has been trying to pass off as Italian lately.

What food do you always like to have in the fridge?
Iced tea.

What food do you always like to have in the freezer?
Various TV dinners.

What food do you always like to have in the cupboard?
Coooooookies... Starting to get really into the honey-roasted peanuts, too. Pasta boxes are also good, as is soup and baked beans.

What spices can you not live without?
Garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, etc...basically anything you would find under "Italian seasonings."

What sauces can you not live without?
Italian dressing, steak sauce, mustard.

Where do you buy most of your food?
At school: the market (the only one in town)
At home: Kroger, Publix, Hill's on occasion

How often do you go food shopping?
At school I usually buy milk and various other things maybe once every week and a half. Mom goes to the grocery all the time at home.

What’s the most you’ve spent on a single food item?
Ben & Jerry's runs pretty expensive.

What’s the most expensive piece of kitchen equipment you own (excluding ‘white goods’)?
As I don't own any of them, I couldn't say. ;)

What’s the last piece of equipment you bought for your kitchen?
Uh...

What piece of kitchen equipment could you not live without?
Tie between fridge/freezer and microwave.

How many times a week/month do you cook from raw ingredients?
Hahahahahahahahaha!!!

What’s the last thing you cooked from raw ingredients?
See above. I try to avoid the stove, and you can't really do much beyond frozen food and boxed/canned goods in the microwave.

What meats have you eaten besides cow, pig and poultry?
Fish is a meat.

What’s the last time you ate something that had fallen on the floor?
I'm sure it was recently.

What’s the last time you ate something you’d picked in the wild?
Tried one of the blackberries that grow in our yard last summer. Was a stupid idea. Sourest thing ever.

Place in order of preference (greatest to least):
Italian, Chinese, and I've never had Thai, Indian, Sushi, or French.

Place in order of preference:
Vodka, Gin, Tequila, Dark Rum, Light Rum, Brandy, Whiskey
NONE.

Place in order of preference:
Garlic, basil, mint, ginger, caramel, aniseed, lime

Place in order of preference:
Apple, cherry, strawberry, pineapple, watermelon, orange

Bread and spread:
French bread (toasted) with butter, garlic, and oregano.

What’s your fast food restaurant of choice, and what do you usually order?
Taco Bell, Popeye's, McDonald's, Wendy's

What’s your choice of tipple at the end of a long day?
Um, root beer?

What’s the next thing you’ll eat?
'Nother cookie. Mmmm.

Yeah, I'm in that boat, except I have to lay off the garlic whenever I'm eating out with the lady.
