I'd like to say that rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated, but let's face it, they haven't. I got nine hours of sleep instead of my usual eight, and I've been like a slow-moving rhinocerous with cotton wrapped around its head all day. Didn't help that I apparently slept wrong on my shoulder last night, so I've been typing on my paper, and now this entry, v-e-r-y- c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y all day so as to keep my neck from spasming. Ow.

I have four pages (out of, um, a minimum of twelve) on my history paper, so that's coming along okay, I guess. I'm hoping to get six by the time I have to leave for Whitney's birthday party-type-thing at ten, and then four more tomorrow (along with preparing for my Faust presentation on Wednesday/for my meeting with Klebes about it on Monday), leaving two for Monday. Then I'll spend the rest of the week revising and editing the thing, leaving next weekend for writing the proposal for my Faust paper and, hopefully, one of the three Russian Lit essays. Then working on the paper all week/weekend after that, studying for the French history final (cumulative. Woe.), and writing the other two Russian essays. Perhaps not in that order. Anyway, I get to go home on Thursday the 13th. Nine-hour car ride, woo. I need to find some time to pack at some point, I suppose. Or at least partially pack, and leave the rest for that morning.

That Alavert business isn't working as well as it used to. I've been sneezing off and on and had watery eyes all day. I think it's just allergies and I'm not getting my roommate's cold. Actually, I know I'm not getting that cold, because I refuse to get it. Refuse, you hear me, immune system? I'm not gonna get sick right now.

Wow. That had to be the most boring entry in the world. Blech. Hopefully I'll have a slightly more interesting entry after a couple more days...have to do a tiny bit more revising for my fiction portfolio, then it's essentially done, and I think I'll post at least two of the pieces in it. You're all terribly excited, I know. ;)

It's actually pretty interesting if you pretend that the consonants are plotting the overthrow of their vowel oppressors. "Can't have a word without vowels... Soon they'll see..." Revolutionary letters make all posts more interesting.

Bet you won't get a more random reply than that for a while. :)
