It's not my best, but I haven't made an icon in a while, and I'm rusty, so I figured what the heck. (Also, I've never had a Sam/Jack icon, even though this month marks a year of watching SG1 obsessively for me.) Got to try out some new brushes and remember how to make type almost-but-not-transparent-with-glow-surrounding-it. Lyric is from "Somewhere Only We Know," by Keane, which is currently getting tons of airplay on one of the Internet radio stations I listen to regularly.

In other news, can anyone explain to me why Cat insists on taking walks with the dogs? Seriously, he tags along, runs ahead, and generally hangs out with us as we walk down the street. I don't get it. I guess he thinks he's a dog. Maybe he'd like a harness and a leash...

Well, calling a cat "Cat" all the time is sure to confuse him and make him think he's a dog. It's common sense.

Wait... No it isn't. It's kind of daft. At least it's amusing. :)

My friend Chuck had a dog he called Cat, and it didn't seem to confuse her, though you'd think it would. Perhaps cats just like to be contrary.

I have a dog who thinks she's a cat if that makes you feel any better. A really big 100 pound dog who tries to rub up against your 'ankles' and practically knocks you over... Who has attempted to weave *around* your ankles and *has* knocked you over. I think her grandmother was a mountain lion or something...

Heh. One of our dogs thinks she's a cat--she perches up on high things and curls up on the cushions of the back of the couch like cats do, and forcefully rubs her head under your palm if you stop petting her for just one minute.
