The nice thing is that this isn't hurting as much as it usually is, because XF has a [i]much[/i] higher signal-to-noise ratio than any other fandom I've read fic in. It's amazing. I hardly ever hit a bad fic, even when I'm just randomly hunting through Gossamer. So my anal little editor self isn't having mental breakdowns with each misplaced comma or sentence fragment, 'cause there aren't many to be found. It's so nice.

Yeah, good idea...I haven't done that yet. The only problem is that sometimes people will set things in later seasons, but refer to first season eps in the spoilers. I want a nice big dose of geeky!awkward!Scully and kooky!jerky!Mulder, and both of them being so cute you can hardly stand it. And, y'know, the less of the conspiracy, the better, 'cause while I can sometimes deal with it, the weirdness it degenerated into in the later seasons still drives me crazy. *makes threatening motions at CC*
