My Amazon package arrived yesterday, and in it was a CD by Solas, an Irish outfit connected with Seamus Egan, who composed for some show involving former dancers with Riverdance and who co-wrote Sarah McLachlan's "I Will Remember You." Good stuff. On the back of the CD, they have all the songs categorized into jigs, reels, airs, and songs. So hey, if I ever feel like busting out the four Irish step dance steps I know, I don't have to make a wild guess at which song goes with which dance! ;)

Yep! I heard their version of "Johnny's Gone for a Soldier" on a Celtic radio station a couple eyars ago, and spent months hunting down who the artist was. Seriously. And now I actually have an entire CD instead of two mp3 files, so wheee!
