Couple more Atlantis things
Jul. 16th, 2004 11:19 pm- Siler! Hee! I guess if we can't have Sam and Teal'c due to legal mumbo-jumbo, Siler's the next best guy.
- Cracked up at the way Weir shot McKay down when he started doing the "Chevron encoded" thing. I so see her acting as some kind of weird mother figure to him. A really, really frustrated mother. *snerk*
- So, question. Did they bring along any cooks on this mission? Looked like a pretty fabulous banquet, but I'm wondering who cooked it. Did some poor scientific schmuck get sucked into cafeteria duty?

Date: 2004-07-18 04:08 pm (UTC)Wow, did I read that wrong! But yeah, good question. I'm also wondering where they're going to get food once the supplies run out. Do they all go fishing or go hunting on other planets or what?
I also wonder what they're gonna do "recreation"-wise. Morale and all that. ;)

Well, I'm guessing fishing won't be much of a problem given their location. ;) Maybe there's indigenous plant and animal life on whatever planet Atlantis is located on--they could start something like Voyager's hydroponics bay (please don't let me have just cursed this show into turning into Voyager...). Or they could find some more ZPMs or some other power source that lets them go back and forth to Earth with supplies, maybe? Or they could get food from other planets...trade technology? Farm, fihsh, hunt?
I also wonder what they're gonna do "recreation"-wise. Morale and all that. ;)
*snicker* I know what my little UST-dar is saying Weir and Sheppard should do at some point...

I imagine there is. Actually, maybe they brought along stuff to help with that as well (seeds, hydroponics materials, etc).
Nah, no curse. Brannon and Braga aren't allowed anywhere near it. :)

Hmm, I wonder if they are going to go home sometimes.

Hee. My first thought at seeing them? Dude, Daniel's got breasts now. It's not quite on, but that popped into my head. Plus if you think about it like that, Daniel's also been sort of been shipped with a female version of himself. Too amused.

Date: 2004-07-20 06:47 am (UTC)Hey, maybe. Probably they didn't bring a whole lot, though--it looked like they didn't bring much stuff to begin with, and most of that was probably food that was ready to eat (like for that banquet! ;)).
Nah, no curse. Brannon and Braga aren't allowed anywhere near it. :)
Damn good thing! Brannon and Braga...good lord, does he have split personalities now? ;)
Hmm, I wonder if they are going to go home sometimes.
*coughs politely* I'm taking that as a rhetorical question and mentioning that you should stay far, far away from Gateworld if you don't want the answer just yet.
Hee. My first thought at seeing them? Dude, Daniel's got breasts now.
*snort!* Yeah, but she's not as geeky. More sophisticated and wordly by way of her job, I think. But yeah, there's definitely resemblance.
Plus if you think about it like that, Daniel's also been sort of been shipped with a female version of himself. Too amused.
So now we have Daniel self-ship and self-slash! Wheee, Daniel's gettin' all the action!
