From Gateworld: "Daniel finds himself stuck in a 60's style diner, symbolizing an in-between state where he must decide whether to ascend once again, or go back and risk death. There he meets Mike, who is also trapped there and who serves as Daniel's subconscious as he wrestles with the fateful decision.

"Oma is also there, apparently playing the part of the diner's waitress."

Does this remind anyone else a whole, whole lot of Harvey's frolics in John's mind? I am exceedingly amused by it.

(And no talking about the OTHER plotline, 'cause the clicheness of it makes my brain hurt.)
