Wow. Cool air.

It's 69 degrees outside right now. *eyes bug out* This time of year, we don't even always go below 70 for a low, much less in mid-afternoon.

I feel like I'm horribly behind in e-mails and reading the flist and stuff, probably because of the Crackfic That Ate My Brain. Or possibly just that it's summer and I'm sinking further and further into complete laziness. But it's invigorating to be working on fic like this instead of sweating blood to get anything out.

You all down south are getting the benifits of this cold front. The cool down is probably more then welcome for you. Up here our *high* temps have reached all of 60 degrees for the past week. And it was cloudy and rainy up until yesterday for the past week and a half. And? I've been breaking out the sweat shirts and long pants cause it's been so cool... which is really weird considering August is supposed to be the warmest month of the year.
Is supposed to warm up again this weekend, though, and at least we finally have sunshine. I can deal with the cooler temps when the sun is shining and I don't have cold rain dripping down the back of my neck. :)

I went to a park today and had to wear jeans, a fleece jacket, and my hiking boots. This is nice for a day or two, but I hope it warms back up a little.
